Rex Repass - President/CEO
Rex
Repass is President and CEO of R.L. Repass & Partners, Inc. He has
been an entrepreneur and business owner since 1984, the year he and
Charles Ryan incorporated Ryan-Repass Research, Inc., the forerunner
for what is today R.L. Repass & Partners, Inc. Rex has more than 25
years of opinion research, marketing research, and consulting
experience.
He and his firm work for diverse
business categories including medical device companies (BD Diagnostics,
Omron, Ethicon-Endo Surgery) pharmaceuticals (Prasco, GlaxoSmithKline),
hospitals (WakeMed, Charleston Area Medical Center, Cincinnati
Children's), the automotive sector (General Motors, Toyota, Valvoline),
petro-chemical companies (Sunoco, Dow), energy (American Electric
Power, Allegheny Energy), consumer packaged goods (Procter &
Gamble, Heinz, Sara Lee), national trade associations (Personal Care
Products Council, AARP, American Beverage Association), state lotteries
(West Virginia, Oklahoma, Ohio), travel/tourism (Cincinnati Convention
& Visitors Bureau, Western & Southern Financial Master's &
Women's Open), and media companies (San Francisco Chronicle, Arizona
Republic, Liberty Media). He is a member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), the American Marketing Association, and the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
Rex
received a Master of Science degree in communications with a special
emphasis in public opinion and advertising research from the University
of Tennessee. He received an undergraduate degree in journalism from
Marshall University, and is the recipient of Marshall's W. Page Pitt
School of Journalism distinguished alumnus award, and a past member of
the University's Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Charles McFadden - Vice President
Charles
McFadden is Vice President, Analytics with R.L. Repass & Partners,
Inc. He has more than 20 years of public opinion and marketing research
experience with multiple business and consumer categories.
Prior
to joining the firm in 2002, Chuck held the positions of market
research manager or director for Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Anthem Blue
Cross & Blue Shield, and Hill-Rom. His client engagements have
included consumer goods manufacturers (Procter & Gamble, Avery
Dennison), medical device manufacturers (Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Olympus
America), health care (Duke University Medical Center, WakeMed Health
& Hospitals, Charleston Area Medical Center), and pharmaceutical
companies (Prasco, GlaxoSmithKline, Baxter Healthcare.) Other clients
include marcom agencies (Gyro:HSR, TMG Strategies, Golin-Harris),
information providers (RL Polk), manufacturers (General Motors, Pitney
Bowes, 3M, Sunoco, Ashland Chemical, Batesville Casket, Newmont Mining)
travel, sports, leisure and gaming (Greater Cincinnati Convention &

Chuck has a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Thomas More College and a Master of Arts from Morehead State University.
William Krieger - Client Service Director
William
Krieger is Client Service Director with R.L. Repass & Partners,
Inc. His experience includes design and execution of qualitative and
quantitative research for companies in multiple business categories
including automotive (General Motors), business-to-business (Simonton
Windows and Newmont Mining), healthcare (Omron Healthcare, Inc. and
Prasco), and economic development (Economic Research Associates and the
State of Pennsylvania).
Prior to joining the
R.L. Repass & Partners, Will worked as an intern for the firm and
as a marketing manager at The Kroger Company in Cincinnati. He is
President-Elect of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Marketing
Association, Chairs Cincinnati's annual Digital Conference (The Digital
Non-Conference – www.digitalcincinnati.org), and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
Will
is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree
in business, and is currently enrolled in the MS-Marketing program at
UC. He also has completed a marketing research certification program
through the University of Georgia and sponsored by the American
Marketing Association and Marketing Research Association.
Megan Popp - Qualitative Research Director
Megan
Popp is Qualitative Research Director with R.L. Repass &
Partners, Inc. Megan is highly experienced with focus group
facilitation, in-depth interviews, and small group interviews (dyads,
triads) with teens, young adult women, young families, and mothers.
She
has led group discussions with a variety of clients including the
Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the West Virginia
Division of Health & Human Services, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and BD
Diagnostics. Megan has also facilitated groups for energy companies
(Columbia Gas of Virginia) the automotive sector (General Motors) and
non-profit educational organizations (The College Board/SAT Program).
She received qualitative research and moderator training from the Burke
Institute in Cincinnati. The Burke Institute is the leading educational
learning center for market/opinion research practitioners. Since 1975,
Burke has trained more than 75000 marketing professionals. Megan is
also a former high school teacher and has a Bachelor's degree in
English from Miami University.
Jay Mace - Senior Associate - Data Collection
Jay
Mace is Senior Associate – Data Collection with the firm responsible
for online and telephone interviewing. Jay has 20 years of marketing
and opinion research experience, with background in multiple categories
including media, consumer packaged goods, health care, financial
services, and state and national trade associations. His research and
data collection management experience includes a variety of methods
including attitude and usage studies, home use tests, tracking
research, conjoint analysis, and database mining.
He
is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky and West Virginia State
University, with an academic focus in marketing, algebraic concepts and
statistics. Jay is a member of the Marketing Research Association (MRA)
and the Council of American Service Research Organizations (CASRO).
Aron Levin, Ph.D., - Senior Associate - Marketing Sciences
Aron
Levin, Ph.D., is Senior Associate – Marketing Sciences specializing in
multivariate quantitative methods. Aron has experience in both B2B and
B2C business categories and is a specialist in brand strength in equity
research design and analysis. In addition to his commercial marketing
and opinion research experience, he has published more than a dozen
articles in academic and marketing journals, and is a regular presenter
at national conferences, including the American Marketing Association
and the Association for Consumer Research. During the past 10 years,
Dr. Levin has provided marketing research design and analytical
services to multiple Fortune 500 clients in the areas of product
testing, customer satisfaction, brand equity assessment, and brand
positioning.
He received his Ph.D. from the
University of Kentucky, holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University,
and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa.
James Rulli - Senior Consultant
James
Rulli is a Senior Consultant to R.L. Repass & Partners, Inc.
specializing in qualitative research. Jim has more than 20 years of
experience managing and moderating qualitative research for clients in
multiple business categories including consumer packaged goods (Procter
& Gamble), health care (GlaxoSmithKline), automotive (General
Motors), entertainment (Ubisoft Entertainment), and energy (American
Electric Power). Prior to developing his independent qualitative
research practice, Jim spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble in market
research positions of increasing responsibility. In his last position,
he was responsible for the development of tools and techniques to
gather, analyze and synthesize qualitative research data, turning it
into knowledge for better and faster decision-making.
Jim
received a Master of Arts degree in education from the University of
St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in English
from the University of Minnesota.
Tom Sommers - Senior Associate - Client Services
Tom
Sommers is Senior Associate – Client Services with the firm. Tom has 20
years of marketing and opinion research experience. His client service
experience includes work for consumer packaged goods companies (Procter
& Gamble), healthcare (Merck, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of
Massachusetts), media (Cahner's Publishing), and information technology
(HP, Pitney Bowes). Prior to joining the firm, Tom was a senior client
service executive with GfK Custom Research. Prior to his experience
with GfK, Tom was a client service director with Wirthlin Worldwide
(now Harris Interactive). Tom is highly experienced in quantitative
methods including usage and attitude studies, product development
research, brand equity metrics, and message and communications
research.
He is a member of the American
Marketing Association and received a Bachelor's degree in
communications from Bowling Green State University.
Larry Tiemeier - Senior Associate - Client Services
Larry Tiemeier is Senior Associate – Client Services with R.L. Repass & Partners, Inc. He has more than 30 years experience in marketing, marketing research and marketing operations. His client-side experience includes pharmaceuticals (13 years and 10 therapeutic categories), hospitals (eight years in line marketing) and health insurance/managed care (five years). On the supplier side, his experience spans a variety of both consumer and business-to-business marketing research. Larry has held the positions of Executive Director, Marketing Information at Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals; Director of Marketing Operations at Shire Pharmaceuticals, Director of Marketing at the St. Luke Hospitals (Northern Kentucky), and Senior Manager, Health Economics and Marketing Research at Cincinnati Blue Cross (now part of Anthem).
Larry has a Bachelor's degree in German from Thomas More College, and an MBA in Marketing from Xavier University.
Sarah Robben - Project Manager
Sarah
Robben is a Project Manager with R.L. Repass & Partners, Inc. She
is responsible for management of project logistics on qualitative and
quantitative research for the firm. Sarah has worked on engagements for
clients in the automotive, healthcare, travel/tourism, and educational
business sectors.
She received a Bachelor's
degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from The Ohio State University
and additional training in project management and marketing and opinion
research methods from the Burke Institute in Cincinnati.
